So a week ago, I asked on this bowl why my application was showing under "Business Review" even though I hadn't had a single interview or call from Citi, today, they sent me an automated email saying thanks for interviewing but the role is no longer available? Has Citi confused me with someone else? So weird! And no way to contact anyone in the HR team....so maybe I'm just going to stop applying to Citi because clearly they are promoting internally and just opening up these jobs as a show 🤷♀️

Clearly biased, but D data science > Booze. Clearly depends on role/ team- but if we’re generalizing.
Not prestige per say but talent/roles at Big4 are tricky to rate IMO because you have the entire bell curve, imagine everyone in your high school class working at same firm, you have some all-stars, some real duds, and then tons of mediocre avg consultants. Compared to your current employer BCG/MBB which is so much smaller and primarily all-stars.
Deloitte and KPMG data science > MBB. McKinsey/Quantum Black looks good but I haven't seen them in the market.
EY/PwC data science is not great. YMMV.
Having been at both, BAH has more technical/smarter folks on average. On the right teams, you have some really interesting work. But B4 will have more prestige. BAH is smaller, closer a BCG sized company, and B4 are 10x larger, so you get all the pros and cons that go with that.
Also having been at both, agree with BA1. With Booz, almost all data science work will be federal or social good focused. Booz’s definition of data science is pretty inclusive. Some are delivering true AI and ML. Others are slinging descriptive stats. And all the rest in between.
I don't have experience with Booz, but if you're interested in Deloitte, you should look at and talk to people associated with the firm's asset-based consulting offerings and the Insight Studio. These two things don't encompass all the analytics work that we do, but they include some pretty cool projects that we handle. Fair range from basic dashboarding to the cutting edge like semantic/NoSQL databases and massive simulation technology.
