How do I answer the question “why are you leaving your current company”? Without shitting on my current company?

For background, my company hired me and 6 other sales people back in August 2021, I’ve had 3 different VP of Sales since then, have literally 2 customers on our product in my vertical. Marketing and product are horrible, the CMO is the CEO’s daughter and she’s only ever worked for my company.

Either spin it that you are seeking more challenges/opportunities to grow, or that you're seeking a role (and/or employer) that more closely aligns with your values and long-term goals. Keep the focus on you and put a positive spin on it and you'll be fine. Good luck!

My company has 500 employees but they brought me on to sell an “incubator product” but didn’t disclose that during my interview process

I spin it as needing a challenge. Everyone gets complacent, and this is your way of shaking things up and you want to learn and grow

Make it about the opportunity you’re applying for and lay out what you’re most excited about… don’t even mention your current company.

Lavender noob here. Got these at Trader Joe’s. It’s 100 degrees and sunny 12 hours a day here so def not putting them outside. Any good tips you found worked well for indoor lavender? Based on articles I read, seems like indirect sunlight & water every two weeks are what these flowers need. I got a lavender grow kit to try, too 😅

Im in niche practice area at Big4 (2 YOE)x of which law firms have the practice group. I’m in my late 20s, no kids, not married, significant student debt. The WLB I’ve had is fantastic, and most of my friends are miserable in BigLaw. But obviously the money coming with a lateral opportunity is staring at me, and given my student debt and no family of my own, perhaps it’s worth. Among the money move and grinding out and coming back to Big4 at higher level later? Any insight is appreciated. TIA!

Anyone made the switch from a traditional path to being a professional career coach? While I do enjoy the tax compliance part of my work, I think my real strength and passion is in the people: mentoring, motivating, helping people to think about and set a plan to achieve their goals. Does career coaching seem like a good fit? Any advice on where to start?

Just received a rejection email from one of my dream companies. The recruiter asked if I have any follow up questions. Besides asking what can I do better in my interview, what else would you ask? I want to make this experience as educational as possible.

Thanks in advance!

3 YOE, BS in ChemE, experience is split between supply chain and process development responsibilities.
