I would find a new role, if you top 10% and your an SDR and you have not been lifted in pay or promotions then they are using you as the guarantee workhorse. Your probably on the hook for helping mentor and train your peers as well. This is a normal strategy of hiring and entry managers. It ensures we hit a base metric and until you wise up it’s a happy outcome for everyone but you. I would start applying quietly to other senior roles your ready for or start networking at least while trying to have the pay parity convo. My wife had to do this and they ultimately laid her as well as over 200 off in a cycle as a means to end her ask for pay equality & equity. ( we both started the same time had almost identical results YoY and yet she only say 4% in 5 years increase in pay where as I was 200%. Leadership was the same also. So let that be a lesson. If your not being paid what a newer counterpart makes or above and are top performer. Then move on. The company has already made their decision about you. I guarantee it.
Yes, I’d have a conversation with your manager. One approach that worked for me was to say “I know this sometimes doesn’t happen overnight, but I’d like to understand the plan to right-size my compensation to be more in line with my performance and what I believe is common for external hires. Do you know if that’s reviewed on a quarterly or monthly basis?”
This is a great approach. I’d like to stay here long term so I just want to get ahead of it so my lack of parity doesn’t become exponential as I have seen happen with more senior reps making the same base as me.
You and I are in the same boat! I look forward to the responses.

Hey! Don’t tell them you know how much other people are making, this can cause problems all around. You want to position your argument on the value you bring and you know what other reps are making in your market/industry/ with your experience. If they don’t bring you at or above where you know others are at, I would start looking at other jobs. You can check on RepVue for what ppl are making

What I meant on comp data wasn’t people at your company but more so to other companies in your industry and similar size accounts so SMB VS Enterprise sales. Then comparing that market base with what you have.
The only way to secure a significant bump is to leave… and come back!
Pay parity is a convo that normally would get you nowhere, that was advised to me a couple of months ago. I had it anyways, in the next months some of my biggest accounts were moved to another of my peers because “it makes sense for the clients” and I was laid off last week. Lesson learned, if you are doing your part and you and not appreciated by the company move on
I would have the conversation with your manager and would not name drop. If the response is not clear I would probably get a competing offer. It never hurts to really figure out if they will match/and want to keep you there. Some companies/leaders will string you a long for way too long.
