Hello All ,
What would be the inhand ?
Thanks !
I really would love to get this fishbowl more active. And I hope it's OK to do some recruiting efforts here. I have an in-house real estate position for a Transactional real estate attorney with 3-9 years of experience. 3 days in the office and 2 remote. I wanted to network here and have this information passed around. I'm friends with the chief legal officer and it's a great company and opportunity. Please reach out: kristy@advancedlegalplacement.com 215-771-2900

Sometimes "attention to detail" goes in parallel with experience. The more experience you have, the more you will notice things. Don't be too hard on yourself. The best thing to do is to have a to-do list,
So I'm in the same boat...I've learned that the best thing is to look at it once, go away and look at it again. You spot more things. And also, if you're tired, it's not gonna work. There are some people that are eagle eyed at 4 am but I am not one of them and I've just had to accept that
I agree with the above comment that attention to detail comes with experience, but you can also kind of train it. Its considered a soft skill, so its a bit more difficult to build it up, but you can start by taking tasks one at a time and taking time to practice mindfulness. Also, it helps to keep distractions to a minimum and to take breaks. if you're brain is too overwhelmed with work, miscellanous tasks and so on, you will be more likely to miss things.
Honestly I think it just takes time. You have to be patient with yourself and go thorugh things slowly. Its easy to rush and I think that is what makes a person have less attention to detail. Try not to rush through your work.
I was experiencing that. If you’re working until 4am regularly, it probably helps to talk with your supervisor and decrease your workload. Slow down. I understand that you wanna do everything fast, meet the deadlines and impress bosses, but not paying attention to details will increase their workload.
Also keeping a checklist of the things you need to pay attention to and going back to the list before delivering your work helps.
