My current CTC 13 lpa/8 YOE, Python developer. Im selected for TCS, i told expected 25 lpa, she told we can give max 19 lpa, i told i have to think, she cut call, next day she told to join call to take screenshot with ID. It's been a week, they didn't send CTC break up, status is "evaluation in progress". They rejected me? Can I expect offer? TIA Tata Consultancy

Yeah your manager is gonna write your review, so i wouldn’t worry from a performance metrics standpoint.
As for feeling comfortable, 4 months in is basically nothing. It took me a solid 6 months before I felt anything remotely comfortable, and 2 years until i started to feel actually strong in the role (ebbed and flowed, but overall still have my weak times 2 years in).
You’re rushing the process. There’s a reason you won’t have a performance review your first review cycle
But what if something goes terribly wrong?

We all have imposter syndrome. Eventually you sort of realise pretty much everyone else does too
Op - I’m concerned about your EQ. He said you were fine. Would he lie? Why would you want to create a problem when there is none? Do you want him to think you are bad, when actually you are not? Why not reframe your line of questioning… I think I’m doing well but want to do even better, what are areas for improvement to take it to next level. Get some coaching from someone outside the team on how to ask for feedback, and the right tempo for these convo’s. I am concerned you are self sabatoging.
