Win a few lions and write one blog post about how you’re “taking a risk” and “going off the grid.” Tell people you love to travel and that you just enjoy life too much. Post a bunch of health related pics of you like working out so hard and stuff. Buy Instagram followers and use the top 25 most popular hashtags on each post... Just a few thought starters, but hopefully some ways to begin.

Depends on the agency and role. We have some remote people and are hiring art directors... could be worth a shot

@T31 hook a sister up! Got an email i can send my site to? Can be a fish one if you’re feeling shy. @CW1 i already hate myself just thinking about doing that. I think you’re a genius though

There’s a potential movie script in CW1’s response.

Thank you! How about an agency gig. Weird to offer remote as an option ?

Loving this thread. Especially the response from Copywriter 1. OP just go to the t3 site. The recruiters name is Andrew

Thank you T31 (That would be a cool robot name for you) and SAD1!

@T31 got in touch with Andrew. No remote work.

I have so much mom guilt sending my baby to daycare. She’s 6 months old. The transition has been harder on me than her (she seems fine and happy, just isn’t sleeping well there yet) but I wonder if I should try and find a different solution. Part time nanny, part time daycare? We can’t afford a nanny full time. If I’m WFH and we have a nanny part time is it realistic that I’d see her during the day or am I kidding myself?

Encouraging WFH is not the same as making it mandatory. People who “take the option” of WFH will be frowned upon. Meanwhile “encouraging WFH” alleviates the liability of the agency. Don’t fall for it.

I’m just nervous in the entire process as this is my first year doing this. TIA!!

Anyone ever had trouble with a doctor not wanting to certify a family member’s condition, in order to take a leave of absence? My brother attempted suicide via drug OD (he was addicted) and he’s been hospitalized for over a week with seizures, psychosis, peeing blood, etc. We have visited him every day, driving 100+ miles round trip. The doctor is giving my father and me grief, saying (quote) “you aren’t providing care, the hospital is” and “there’s no reason you can’t go back to work.”

Newly promoted experienced hire SC making $113k, 10 YOE (switched industries). Got an offer from TCS in an Advisory practice (not the tech sweatshop stuff that I keep seeing people mention). Base salary is $190k and in TCS equivalent of a M role. Downside to taking the salary hike and boomeranging back to D in ~2 years? FYI - I have 2 kids, so that kind of pay raise is kind of a big deal.

Asking this question here for a reason. In our culture and set up, a majority of the time is spent in cooking. We usually don’t eat microwave meals.
