What type of work are you hoping to do in pharma?

Supply chain

Was your undergrad degree in SCM or work experience in it?

Undergrad is in bio and business. Are there any certifications that could help or only experience matters?

Undergrad was bio and business. Are there any certifications that would help? Or is it just experience ?

Have you already started applying? I also have three yoe and have been on 3 large pharma projects. However, have not found it very difficult to get an interview. Are you having trouble getting to the first interview or just trying to prepare ahead of time?

All of this sounds like really interesting work. I’m working in the R&D strategy space as well. Would love to know where you are at. Mind sharing or sending me a DM?

Ladies I just went to an urgent eye clinic because I had a septoplasty (deviated septum fixed) and started to have eye pain. Had a check-up (front of eye and back of eye) by a resident doctor and he said everything looks good and the pain should go away as I heal. Good news on the health front AND we started talking and he’s my age and also cute and in a respectable profession and we’re both Indian (these things all matter to me). I want to call the clinic and ask for his number…do or don’t?

Hi everyone, this is a question on Health Spending Account. Does the UK have a health spending account like the US, where, similar to a Roth or ISA, the money you put in this account will not be taxed so long as you spend for health reasons. Through my company, we are using Vitality services for our healthcare and we have a Personal Health Fund, but we cannot more cash to it. And to make it more annoying, this money does not roll over to the next year. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

How can you support moody, passive-aggressive clients and not let it impact your mental health? I understand that managing the relationship is largely our job in account servicing, but the stress and anxiety is taking its toll on me. Honestly feels like being in an abusive/toxic relationship. And yes, senior management and leadership are aware of this attitude and supportive wherever possible, but can only do so much. Help!

What would you do? 34 years old. Offered partnership in hometown local firm 7+ years in the making that offers opportunity to earn 150-200k+ per year + benefits. Also just received unsolicited offer to be in house at young small company that will start at 200k and offer equity totaling payouts of low 7 figures over next five years but requires me to be away four nights/wk 2 hrs from home. May be able to work remote 2 days eventually. Life span of company is 5ish years. Married w/ 3 kids under 5

Has anyone done adult teeth straightening in the city? is the in-network cost (approved fee but no insurance coverage) usually the same among different dentists? I was looking at the estimated fee from my insurer saying that the original cost is 8k, but since it’s an in-network dentist, the cost would be 4K, and I’m 100% responsible for it since I have no orthodontics coverage. Does this make sense?

I work at a traditional actuarial consulting firm on the heath benefits side and don’t really find the work very interesting. I’m kept by short term promise of a nice promotion, and competitive pay. I’ve recently started thinking about a next move, but am torn about which direction to go in. I’ve pondered a few options: working at a traditional carrier, switching to a different kind of consulting, or non-traditional work. All of my connections are in consulting not insurance, anyone have advice?

Any advice for negotiation? I made the mistake of letting slip my current salary to the recruiter and now I’m in final rounds at FB and the recruiter disclosed the salary for the position. It seems to be quite below industry average based on Glassdoor and other sources, but I know once given the salary it’s hard to negotiate at FB. I recently got a title change at my current company, and possible salary increase, so I was thinking of using that to counter. Never negotiated before!
