How do I get out of audit and pivot towards a strategy role? It seems like every option outside of being a senior accountant is unreachable. What should I be aiming for? Deals teams at the firms are “accountants on steroids” and not worth transferring to and apparently auditors can’t get any other roles.

I joined Genpact 10 days ago and my Onboarding session is done but after that I didn't get any call from my supervisor or HR for the laptop delivery, shift timings nd all. When I am trying to connect with my HR and Supervisor through email, they are not replying and hiring manager is not picking up the call.

Is it normal, or any action in required from my side, or something need to be worried?

Need some advise on a situation that pretty sure will play out this week. While I am on track for a promo. This promo will transform my position to be a non-exempt employee and not be paid hourly. Being that I currently do a bit of RM tasks that constitute a lot of overtime, how do I negotiate that I still receive a promo but be exempt being that unfortunately the ladder will dictate non-exempt.

As an accounting major does it look bad to not have a cpa... really struggling. Mainly cause my heart just isn’t in it. I want to risk consulting or it assurance and potentially work towards my cisa. But since I have an accounting degree I feel as though it’s going be look down on if I don’t do my cpa.
