How do I get rid of the formatting, boxes and weird nonsense from Google Docs when transitioning to Word without doing a plain text copy and having to reestablish all of the numbering, spacing and indents??

But I have interviewed at several big name pe shops and make a few rounds on interviews but then get the same feedback that they are worried about my lack of operational experience.

The legal issues were previously handled by the CFO with help of outside counsel. 1st year was hard because he was territorial about legal matters, but I reported directly to the board so it wasn't a true issue

2nd year: The CEO retires, and the new one decides to put me under the CFO in the organigram. Now I'm back to square one bc this guy cuts me off any relevant issue!

Do you think it’s a bad time to job search? I’m currently in a role I actually enjoy with pretty good work/life balance and management that seems to like me, but the pay from what I can tell is well below market for talent, and the company is cutting costs so much that I don’t see them fixing the gap or giving us good bonuses or anything anytime soon (F500 level company by revenue for ref).
