What is your firm’s policy for compensating female equity partners/shareholders who take the allotted amount of maternity leave (and thus may have collections from clients but no chargeable hours)? Are they just hung out to dry from a comp perspective for that year or does the firm step in and support from a comp perspective the hours lost as a result of maternity leave?
