Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knew the cooldown for applying to APMM? Applied to APMM S&O in June but didn't get past resume screen, and I'm wondering if I will be autorejected if I applied to the regular APMM program now? (different listing, no minimum YOE stated as compared to APMM S&O)
Thank you in advance!Google

Listen and repeat. Bob starts talking about football so you ask how the game was. He tells you about how the quarterback had a terrible game. You go talk to John he asks you if you watched the game you say "no, but I heard so and so had a terrible game." Then listen to John spend an hour talking to you about it. Good idea to read a little bit on the sports and teams involved just to have some background first though.
I did and I can’t believe my eyes had to endure that game or the multitude of gaffes on that final drive. Brain numbing.
Don’t.

Find a friend who knows the sport to watch it with you and ask them questions when you don’t know what’s going on.
Honestly ask the person you’re talking to about their team. People love to talk about their own passions and sports and you can pick up a lot of things just by listening
podcasts
Axios Sports by Kendall Baker is a nice morning sports based newsletter. Think Morning Brew for sports. Its well done and takes 5-6 minutes to read, covering a pretty wide variety of topics.
Jim Rome Daily Jungle podcast. It’s his three hour daily sports show condensed into an hour of the best takes, interviews, callers etc. Then the Jim Rome Podcast is a full one hour interview with one person just once a week.
Both excellent and you will learn a ton about sports, plus you’ll be able to say things like “Practice? What we talkin bout here, practice? Practice?” or my all time favorite “I’M A MAN! I’M 40!!”
“I think what I’m supposed to say is, rack me, I’m out. Goodnight Nooooooooow!!!!”
