I took the time to focus on myself. Found new hobbies, started grad school, got into the best shape of my life. Decided that if I didn’t address the burnout then I wouldn’t want to move forward and chase after the next big thing when it comes. Part of me misses work being everything but there’s value to working on yourself as well.
Thanks so much for sharing this. It looks very interesting, I do need to think about what I really want, because at this point I don’t want to do anything, I just want to be. Ugh I hate that I’m being such a negative nancy. I do appreciate your input PA1, it’s very kind of you to take the time to respond with such patience.

Because it’s all corporate bullshit and you realized the matrix is real!
Haha, so true. Don’t even get me started on capitalism and consumerism.
I think it’s hard to want anything when we’re all trying to survive our new reality with the pandemic. It’s a positivity sucker for sure. We’ve had time to sit around and see how much BS is really out there. I’m finishing my MSIS in the spring and totally indifferent about that or future jobs. To be mid twenties and indifferent is kind of sad...but life goes on. I’m considering a second masters in finance to kill time. Anyone have thoughts or advice there?
