Consider your agency has a small dev team, I’d say the best way to demonstrate your worth is to get an job offer from another company.

Congrats on stepping up from your apprenticeship! Assuming you have clearly communicated your content to your manager and no action has moved forward. Go onto the market. Not to show your manager the raise you deserve or because your manager will then give you a raise, but because your career is yours. And being underpaid is not an option for your career.

I don't have a degree in CS so I consider myself lucky to have the job I have. Even so, I was discussing salaries with some of my coworkers recently and I realized I was being paid the least. Is it right to ask my boss for a raise if I've been working effectively so far?

Let’s work next year to get you there.

Any advice on how to ask for a raise a couple of months before it's time for my yearly review? My work product and proficiency has been consistently good and my firm just hired a new attorney (not yet licenses in the state) that I have been responsible for mentoring. Mentoring a new attorney has put extra stress on my daily work load and she is paid the same as me, which makes me think it's time to discuss my value at my firm.

I have been at the company since July and the end of year review is coming up. I asked but she tells me she’s going to talk to her manager, but just blows me off. I think she wants to keep the ladies where she is at.

I'm making an internal transfer to FAAS service line (out of audit) and only got a $2K raise. I was under the impression that FAAS gets paid a fair amount better than audit? Was I mistaken? For context: I'm leaving audit as a "top rated" S1. I'm already compensated at the top of the pay-band (as told to me by the recruiting team who are helping to transition me). I also applied for PWC CMAAS, but was offered the same exact compensation as EY and was told there was no room to negotiate.

I have just over 3 years of experience (2.5 as an Analyst and .5 as a software engineer) and all doing .Net coding. I live in the Denver area, and work remote. What salary is everyone getting for that kind of position? I make 97,000 with a 10% profit sharing bonus (up to 10%). I've also only been with my company under 6 months and got a raise when I got my current job. Any thoughts?
