If you think you're in a position to get a return offer, it's much better to stick it out.
Even if you decline that offer, going into full-time recruiting you can say "I got an offer but wanted to do something in a different direction". This puts you in a stronger position with interviewers and will help you achieve the objectives that you do have for your career.
Even if you don't think you might get a return offer, it would look very fishy to me as an interviewer that you didn't see out the internship. I would really dig into what happened, and just the reasoning "it's not adding value to my career" would be a red flag for me. We all have to do things sometimes that aren't 100% exciting, but we slog through them so we can get to the things that are.
If it’s just 2 more weeks, I’d do the bare minimum and leave. But upto you.

You need to stick it out. It’s two weeks - you’re going to have to stick out jobs that you hate for much longer than two weeks later in your career. The potential negative consequences of bouncing early are way too high.
Could you brainstorm ways to make the experience different in the next two weeks? Some examples: sign up for a full week of training, ask to shadow someone in a different part of the business, ask for independent work time to work on some kind of prep for the upcoming school year or an independent project relevant to the work….
Yes just tell them you are having health issues you need to resolve before the school year starts! Sooner rather than later. Say you can stay through wed or fri next week to wrap up your outstanding tasks and be very experience about your time working with them. As long as you leave on a good note no one will probably even remember that wasn’t your official end date
Tell them you’ll need to end early for health reasons and maybe give them one more week or at least until next Wednesday?
Also I graduated from an MBA. I had a return offer from my company still interviewed with different companies no one asked my why I didn’t want to return to my internship company.
You can probably say you are looking for more growth then the current company offers you.
Interviewers won’t really care if you got a return offer or not
Just say you want to leave and see what they say. Mental health first. We had an intern quit the internship program for a family emergency. It was obvious he didn’t want to be there so it was the best option for everyone. If you need an excuse, say you need to leave for personal or health reasons.

the working world is small, and you never know when your path might cross with the people you are working with now. The person you give unexpected notice to now could be the person on your hiring committee 5 years from now.
Unless you truly have a family emergency, I’d stick it out and end on a positive note with your work. 2 weeks will go by quickly and you will leave with hopefully some good feedback and connections.

Adding to this: People definitely talk to their networks. You can safely assume that when you apply to ABC Corp. and they see an internship on your resume at XYZ Corp., the ABC folks will reach out informally to their friends at XYZ and ask about how your internship went. The world is very, very small.
