I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

ADHD advice. I have always thought a million miles a min on random things, but I managed to get through the schooling and tests to become a lawyer without any meds. Now I’m licensed and find it ridiculously hard to concentrate on any type of work. I have never been diagnosed but come from a parent who thought Advil was the gateway to coke.
