Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

I declined completely and sent an example of one of my other assignments that I had done from a previous candidacy (in which they took my work and completely removed the job posting). Found out that I’m getting paid $5k a year less than other new grad hires in the same department and level as me (was told that new grad hires would get paid the same regardless of role). New grads were also told that we cannot negotiate pay because women tend to negotiate less than men and they wanted to keep things fair. Then I learned that a male peer negotiated their starting bonus when I was told that I wasn’t allowed to. Feeling undervalued and don’t know what to do in this situation.

Does working on ASC 740 tax provisions for 500 hours or more allow me to apply for the audit designation on my license (so i can sign these audit reports?) I currently have the general CPA license and have no other audit experience. I've been purely a tax guy my whole career.

Deferred basis in a partnership. If I am looking to prove out the ending deferred related to an investment in a partnership is it as “simple” as taking the initial contribution and rolling in taxable income year over year for tax basis. For book basis initial investment rolling in book income year over year. Minus any distributions for both.

Why firm is “begging” for employees? I mean firm is now paying more and adding more benefits to show what can employee get and try to keep or attract them. Aren't they know that in a romantic relationship, the more you say “please don't leave me, I will do anything for you ”, the easier the other party to control you? and you will not get respect? I'm an employee wants more, just a question to discuss about the firm's strategy.
