Yeah or you can just commit to doing low level maintenance on your own
My 2 cents - don’t buy a cabriolet, buy a 6 speed MT hardtop and keep it. The 911 has shown to hold its value over long periods of time. I think the 6 speed non convertible 911s will start appreciating even more and faster once Porsche announces electric 911s.
I fully agree with this POV
OP i have a 2013 911S and I can confirm it’s the best fun you can have with your clothes on. If you can afford it and it’s your dream car - do it.
Bold assumption that you’ll be able to sell it for 1/2 of what your purchasing for in 5-7 years. Used car prices are through the roof—surely prices will stabilize in the next year or two.
Mainly trying to be as conservative from a financial perspective. Heard that the 911 kind of plateaus off in terms of depreciation after 10 years and then it’s a slow bleed. So hence the assumption. I understand I may be incorrect and you brought up a solid point.
Also is this a daily or 2nd/3rd car. If the latter, then maybe…
Yup 2nd and possibly 3rd car. Something fun to drive on weekends (live in a warmer part of the country so have more opportunities to drive it)
