Same thing. Only 1 year at bain and now I want to change. Same thing with my previous employer 😬 (1yr)
Same thing man, getting hella bored out here. It also the challenge, I feel like I am becoming a ppt money, and the exciting brainstorming sessions are far and few
I feel like if you get staffed on projects different enough it doesn’t feel as bad
But before consulting I couldn’t do it
Personally don't think that's a super bad thing. Might be just the way you need to operate. Two years doesn't look bad on a resume, so if you can swing it financially who cares.
That’s consulting. Join a company. Carve a path. Own real results.
Can you clarify what you mean? Can’t tell if you’re advocating for or against consulting.

Glad to know I’m not alone
All helpful, glad that I’m not the only one. I’m still very early into my career and worry if maybe I’m just not giving jobs a fair chance / sticking with them long enough.
I struggle with this as well. I find that making sure I have a good work life balance and doing more exciting things outside of work keep my life fresh and exciting.
Pro
I changed companies or projects every 6 mos-2 years my whole career. My latest company I’ve been running for almost a decade but it has been really varied. I buy/sell businesses and work with a variety of projects and companies. I delegate or sell off projects when I get bored.
