How do some people have a sick ass dell laptop at Accenture (non digital)?

As someone who grew up with parents who provided for us on $35k a year, I’m so sick of people who post things like “I’m 23 with $200k in savings and a $150k job - is that good?? 🥺🥺” y’all are annoying

My offer was accepted! Yay! But my offer was $45k over listed price. I’m feeling sick! I now understand why it’s advised to avoid talking about politics at work. Reading through some of the posts and comments, it makes me sick to my stomach. Just witnessed a mess on flight with flight attendants escalating a 2.5 year old not wearing a mask. We need to drop mask mandates for kids. It’s completely impractical and causing chaos for travelers and flight attendants. Europe is age 5 and that seems way more reasonable.

Interviewing for FSO consulting manager @ EY, comp expectations?

As I prepared to file my notice, the partner of the firm called me and asked me to stay. They’re willing to promote me mid year in December and increase salary next year in August. The current offer I have gives 60% pay increase and Partner still can’t match that offer after promotion.
