USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?

Oliver Wyman vs Strategy&?
business unit level vs enterprise level. generally level of stakeholder differs. the bullet point on the resume might be worded the same but the day to day work at a BU level is much more granular and more likely requires you to have some scientific understanding
some people like the specifics because it gets into the science at times and it's more nuanced while others like the bigger picture work which focuses more on a implications for the business. ultimately, the latter will probably pay more/have higher billing rates
can't really generalize by typical project. both MBB/T2 and some of firms mentioned above have sufficient breadth where it's going to vary by therapeutic/disease area, client, practice area, and a bunch of things. there's also some overlap in what all the firms do (e.g. "boutiques" might be on C-suite or c-1 level work, though much less frequently than MBB/T2)
I would say it’s probs 25% C-level, but for smaller biotechs, 50% brand level, 25% BD/portfolio level - but that’s just me, others have different mixes
17 projects at once vs single staffing
Single staffing at some boutiques, especially at junior levels
