How do strategy projects at boutiques (ie. Clearview, Trinity, Health Advances etc.) differ from strategy work performed by T2 firms/MBB? Particularly interested in how BD&L work and portfolio strat work differs across these bands.

I need some insight on my salary. I've been working at a large insurance brokerage for 14 years now and am a Senior Account Manager. I service a book of around $1.5M and am doing all the data entry side of the job plus client facing service without much, if any assistance. My current annual salary is $78,500. I've recently found out from someone who left the company, who was in an entry level account management position, was making only $20k less than myself. Am I being fairly compensated?

how do you study mbb prep material?

for ex, w/ crafting cases: there is a free 7-day trial w/ vids. do you think it would be a worthwhile investment to make flashcards of the content in the videos, study the content, then jump into mocks, or would it be best use of time to just go thru the vids/material, and immediately jump into mocks after w/o actively studying all the principles first?

Have an offer to move from senior associate to NEP role at insurance defense (toxic tort mainly) firm in Chicago. Base salary $175,000 - fair base compensation in current market or below market value?

Insurance Defense Associate new to group. Just finished first year on the defense side after 6 years on the Plaintiff side, joined 3 weeks before lockdown. WFH with 6 and 2 year old. While billing 2k in a year with kids at home all day is nuts, you will not get better balance in a small pltff firm. Small firm partners are allergic to WFH, and can't afford to be flexible with when an associate gets to their work. The support of a larger firm is what has kept me alive this past year.

Hi! I currently work as a senior consultant but my client (a major bank) has made it clear they would be interested in hiring me full time into a product role (VP).
