They have no identify as an agency anymore. They’ve been pivoting from a creative tech shop to a digital agency to a mar-tech agency over the last 5 years. The new CEO keeps repeating the phrase “fast is the new black” and expecting people to go “oh yeah, smart.” They’ve been hemorrhaging talent over the last 9 months, through layoffs and people jumping ship. The director of talent, who had been there for 7 or 8 years just left to follow the previous CEO to a new agency. Also, haven’t heard great things about the new CCO. So...I guess, if you are looking for a place you can really make an impact...!

And it’s a shame because they had a legit claim to being one of the first truly innovative creative tech shops. Before OpenFrameworks took off, Cinder was industry standard basically. But that community has been languishing for years, if not altogether vanished.

Attempting to renter the workforce after a 2 year hiatus due to health issues followed by the pandemic. During this time off I had minor success running a small business, but not enough to pay the bills. I have 3 YOE, 1.5 as a Loan Officer, and 1.5 as a consultant within compliance and Fintech. Please let me know of any fully remote positions, or hybrid positions based out of Chicago or Milwaukee. I live in Dubuque IA, so for in office work it would have to be in Dubuque. TIA!

How do you prepare for case interviews with industry companies? I imagine the best way to understand their background is looking at the platform, their monetization strategies, earnings reports etc etc. What kind of possible questions could be asked in the case scenario?

Perm remote Option 3: 5 month temp opportunity with the municipal government - remote at 82-90k

Thoughts on part-time check-the-box MBA? I’’ 32, and am on track for promotion to SM. I can’t justify doing a part-time MBA at a top school and taking on all the debt. An MBA has always been a goal of mine, and some state schools provide an affordable price tag but I’m not sure if it’s worth it at all if it’s not a top 20 school.

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!

Do you think it’s better to go to immediately go a firm that’s beyond your skillset or work your way up to that firm? For example, going to a T2 firm as an experienced hire having never done consulting without or starting at a smaller consulting firm and then going to T2/MBB?
