Back to back calls every day, unrelenting context switching at 30 minute intervals. At any given moment my only goal is to just make it through my next meeting / client call / orals. That's it. I'm literally existing in pure survival mode day after day. Anyone else in this special kind of Hell? Anyone successfully pull themselves out?
Just had a client FaceTime me to present because her Skype wasn’t working...that’s a new one.
My SM passed my idea off as his on… failed epically at the execution and didn’t have information for the client. He then attempted to blame me for his failure in front of the client. How do you deal with this
I keep telling everyone I’m so busy from my project and backing out / canceling calls when in reality my project is slow AF 😈
Is it hard for anyone coming out to your client?
Need some advice - been at the D for a year and have been on the same implementation project for over a year. Have a technical background and am thinking of starting to look for exits to industry but also am curious what strategy projects are and if I would be interested in the work. Is it worth networking onto a strategy project at the D or should I just continue to look for industry exists and then go b school and then try for MBB/T2 ?
Anyone have information about Deloitte Client Account Management (CAM) roles? Are they valued even though not billable?

Rolled off my first project due to performance. I’m bummed and it’s the first time it’s happened to me. Talked to my coach and PM about it. Still feel like I have a scarlet letter.

If I’ve been asked to take a drug screen after I’ve already been confirmed and have used Marijuana in the last several days, will the client even care if it’s just some pot?

For those back in office are y’all just wearing masks indoors and is it affecting the way you work? I’m pro-vaccine and masks indoors when crowded. But can’t help think it being uncomfortable having the mask on working 8+ hours and taking client calls when you could have it off working at home 🏠

Who have you noticed is hiring again? Thanks in advance :)

Hello, I am a Software Engineer with 14 months experience and plan to switch to the role of a Product Owner. I've been a part of Scrum teams throughout my tenure as a Software Engineer. I'm doing a course on Business Foundations and plan to take the PSPO certification exam. Are there any other steps that I need to take to make the transition? Also, is the transition at all feasible given my around 1.5 years of work experience?
