How do you access your 401k account after leaving the firm? I have always gone through benefit express but can’t figure how to access it externally

Any RSM peeps out there? How do their benefits compare to Deloitte? Do they have well being subsidy, pension plan, etc? What is PTO policy? Do you work from home?

I'm looking at rebalancing my 401K, but I need some help. Back in 2018 when I rebalanced to a new fund Y, it looks like it moved what I had in Target Fund into Y but subsequent contributions went into the Target Fund. 2 years later, the fund Y has the $2K but Target Fund grows. Can I change my contributions to consistently go into different buckets and not just the one Target Fund? Please help!

Would it be wiser to spend my time learning how to invest or studying for the CPA and then learning how to invest? My goal is to achieve financial independence and retire early. To be honest, I’d like to use my job as a source to fund my investing, so that’s why I’m not sure if I would want to study for the CPA if my end goal isn’t necessarily to be a partner or anything. I suppose those of us in finance at big employers have to preclear personal trading/investment. Couple questions: 1. What’s your holding period? ie if I buy something then I can’t sell it for profit after 60 days (looks like cutting loss before 60 days is fine) 2. Is there a way to automate our investments to any extent?
