How do you all feel about the ARK ETFs? I feel pretty passionately that Cathie wood knows what’s she’s doing and that the next decade will yield some crazy disruption.

I own shares of ARKF, ARKQ and ARKG. In it for the long haul and looking forward to the wild ride towards what will hopefully be incredible gains!

Agree. I strongly believe in the mission even tho it’s down a lot rn I love going after disruption and her analysis is really good as well

I would invest more if only the expense ratio wasn’t so high ~0.6-0.8%.

What are ARK ETFs? 0.6-0.8% ER are pretty high...

I definitely wouldn’t describe as a “hedge fund”. They have a great website and a podcast that you can learn more. Their CEO cathie wood also puts out great videos on youtube

Hi all! I was asked coordinate a local happy hour for my team. The issue I’m having is that I’m currently pregnant and am not sure if I’m comfortable to hang out with strangers. What’s the most professional way to say no without hurting feelings / burning bridges? Or should I suck it up and go?

Hi Fishes,

My current CTC is 8.71 LPA and overall experience is 4.9 years. I have an offer of 14.5 LPA. I am currently giving interview in HCL. How much should I ask from them? Does HCL have variable component and how much they pay of that?

I am looking for a balanced work life and job security so want to get in there.

Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing well.
I recently joined Barclays and I have one doubt regarding bonus part in my salary which is not officially mentioned anywhere in my offer.

Can anyone please tell how we get annual bonus in % on Below Salary components.
Is it on BASIC SALARY or ANNUAL SALARY or TOTAL FIXED PAY.

I currently work at a senior level in product management, I have around 4 years of experience in the field. I'm severely underpaid and feel quite undervalued by the company. I've also been supporting my wife who's been doing her Masters for the past 2.5 years, and being in NYC my savings are absolutely minimal. My PERM is processing so I can't even make a move for another 6-8 months and I'm scared of doing so in light of thr current job market. I'm struggling to deal with my situation. Help?

Of course, since everyone here seems to wear the same shoes, I looked at AE. They have the Rockies high line but is that actually a good hiking boot?

Hi all,

Got a bit of an odd request.

I'm a Project Manager at Sainsbury's based in Holborn and was wondering if anyone would be able to give me a tour of their London Big4 office?? I've never been in their office and I would like to visualise what I'm striving for. Willing to meet up for a coffee before hand or have an initial call. Coffee's on me!

TIA

Hi,

I have 1.5 years of experience as an SAP BASIS CONSULTANT and I am looking for a switch.

but I want to work in (Full Stack) Java development I have learned spring boot, angular, rest API, AWS CI/CD pipeline and I have good knowledge of core java, collections.

Will it be a good decision to directly get a job as an experienced candidate by telling I have experience in Java(2 years)

or

I shouldn't lie about my prior experience with SAP BASIS.

Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions

I am 38 and only have 200k in 401k. I started late and made some bad investments and lost about 150k in options in 2021.Is there any hope left for me for FIRE? How do I find my true FIRE number, not the 4% rule based shorthand. I am at $3M net worth but I don’t own my home. Live in HCOL (SF/NY) where I could buy something but one, I feel I’m being a sucker buying inflated real estate, and two, I think my investments will compound faster than real estate. I’m 40. So should I calculate FIRE based on my current rent plus inflation, or based on taking on a big mortgage, locking up chunk of net worth into down payment and mortgage — and won’t then FIRE soon
