Hi, I am hired as senior test engineer for automation testing profile in EY AND WIPRO The reason I am not selecting EY is just because I don't have any practical exposure working in automation testing and I am afraid that it's better to work in Wipro and get practical exposure and then try for big brands like EY. Also, in EY I will be asked to work in client location. Where I might get into difficult situation Anyone would like to comment on this? Is my decision of selecting wipro correct?

Hi Everyone! My parents are visiting San Francisco next week. They are in their early sixties. What are some activities that they could do? They already have a wine tour lined up an hour outside of San Francisco. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. They just want to have a memorable trip. I fucking hate the expectation that "men must provide" or "women must act a certain way". That's damaging to a lot of relationships. I love division of labor and working with each other's strengths and weaknesses without so much emphasis on gender roles. I'm a big supporter of utilitarian relationship that strives for the good of the partnership and each party.

I studied SCM in college but I’ve been working through tech implementations on the ptp side for about 4 years now - it’s been all indirect client work though and no supply chain. How tough is it to pivot to more process and supply chain based strategy projects - do I need to get my mba. At a smaller firm now and feel like I’d have to jump to an Accenture to actually have the ability to do that kind of work (logistics and trade optimization, planning, manufacturing)

I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles). Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already. I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?
