Hello! I’m new to fishbowl and wanted to make my first post. I’m currently in the process of transitioning out of the Air Force and looking for a skillbridge opportunity in project management, preferably located in Tampa, Florida. A few companies I have on my list are Accenture, Raytheon Technologies Corporation and JPMorgan Chase What are everyone’s thoughts on those companies and how military friendly they really are?

Small gyms work just as well as big gyms if you use them efficiently
I go to a local gym - hotel gyms are typically underwhelming remodeled closets.
Also make a stop at grocery store and keep healthy options in client fridge (or get mini fridge in hotel room and bring some of my own prepped meals)
I have a national membership at both Lifetime Fitness and LA Fitness. If neither are close I negotiate a short-term membership at a local gym (most are willing to work something out)
Book a hotel that is not too close to client site but still walking distance. You will force yourself to walk everyday for a good 30 min round trip.
My team orders Freshly to help with poor food choices near a rural client
That's interesting, hows the options on there?
If you have class pass find gyms near hotel and use those instead
Just get a membership at a local gym, many chains have national memberships so if you don’t only want to pay for that location you can find a gym near your home with a branch around client site and get a membership
Since your typically downtown when traveling. YMCA has a national membership program and I typically like their gyms
Watching what I eat, I've recently started to explore more vegan spots and I try to work around an intermittent fasting schedule which keeps me more active.
Walk more, drink less. Also check out men’s/women’s health for workouts. Many body weight exercises are fantastic!
Stay within calorie deficit when you travel . If you have limited exercise, adjust food and alcohol intake too proportionately and make up when you get home .
I also make sure to walk everywhere and climb stairs in office as often as I can .
