How do you answer “tell me about yourself” in an MBA interview?

Are there any schools in particular that are really good for non profit careers? I’m planning to apply to business school but wanted to specialize in social impact

How important is it to validate computer science engineers' university degrees in the USA? I have seen many employers that don’t require it when hiring, but probably some of them reject applicants because they got the degree abroad.

Any advice on applying for PhD out of consulting? I'm 8 years out of undergrad. Scored well on GRE but unsure how best to proceed given I've been out of school for so long.

With current salary around 120k, should I pause my career to do a full time MBA or do something part time like the Booth Evening and Weekend program. goal is defense/national security consulting at MBB. It would put a lot of financial strain on my family for me to quit working and go to school full time but at the same time I worry that part time will drastically reduce my chances for the career I really want.

New grad students have started asking about my experience in the program. Should I be honest and tell them how horrible it was? Or avoid the question and let them form their own opinion?

Are MBA worth it? For folks who have done it, how many years years does it take to break even from investment perspective?

I’m currently working at a T2 and have recently applied to all three MBB’s at the consultant level- each for the NYC office. I’ve been rejected at the resume stage for all three and not sure what went wrong. I have an M7 MBA, good work experience, and applied with a referral each time. I’ve also had folks from each company look over my resume to ensure quality. Is it because I’m applying only the NYC office that my resume is getting dinged? Feeling so incredibly disheartened.

I want to get an affordable MBA and am looking into a few options. Does anyone know if University of the People is legit? 🙏

Having tough time deciding between IB & Consulting. My thought process: I have a "better" background for IB (TAS/valuation) and with tech layoffs, this might push more potential would-be tech applications to pursue consulting (there by increased competition)? Additionally, you can do IB intern and full time consulting but not vice versa. I prefer consulting, but IB seems like the "safer" option? And if consulting does get hit hard, I would hopefully have a full time IB offer via internship.

First GRE practice test 10 days ago w/ no studying was a 299, today took another practice test and got a 311. Still ways to go for my goal of 320s but I’ve got 2 months to pull it off with practice. Pray for me though😂
