I'm guessing the peer wouldn't know you had been approached by a recruiter vs the other way around. Going into an interview with anyone beyond the recruiter, I would assume the usual expectations and questions.
Now, if the recruiter had asked, I would have turned it around on them and asked why they felt you were a good fit.

I have been asked this when recruited and actually take it as “why did you say yes?” Also think about why you are looking for a new job in the first place…. Career development, challenges, what you are looking for in an employer etc.
I would have had done some research on the company first and then go from there. Growth, etc - anything that pops out - esp. if the recruiter was desperate to ask me several times. There could have been something that made you say yes to the interview!
