Use a weakness that can be interpreted as a strength in some scenarios and a weakness in others.

Don’t use the canned “I’m a bit of a perfectionist”. Use something real that you know won’t be a big deal to them. For example, I’m very confident about presenting in large group scenarios but find it harder to present to a single person or a small group. I’ve worked on this by constantly putting myself in that situation and while there are some times I genuinely think “what am I supposed to do with my hands” I’ve gotten more comfortable with it. This works because almost everyone has something they could work on from a comms perspective and I threw in a Ricky Bobby reference
