Is an MHA treated the same as an MBA in the healthcare consulting world? I keep seeing info. on MBA grads making ~150k post grad and can't help but feel like I'm grossly underpaid if that is true. Have an MHA, multiple certs, 3 YOE, making less than 100k right now.
I m thinking of buying term life insurance. Can you renew the policy after 10 years, 20 years once it is lapsed and you r still alive?

Serious question: If money doesn’t matter and mental health is important and you don’t feel like that’s being addressed, why not get a job that pays less that you feel supports your mental needs better? Certainly you wouldn’t mind the pay cut since money isn’t fixing your issues no? (speaking to those who still aren’t satisfied with the raises Milbank announced) I’m just trying to understand.
Are there any healthcare/research consulting firms that take F1 visas? I have a talented acquaintance with healthcare and research experience looking for a consulting fit.

Just found out that my mom needs hearing aids, but sadly the plan she has with Kaiser Permanente doesn’t really cover any of it. Does anyone have any experience getting hearing aids and financing options or ways to better leverage health insurance?
Just giving a bit of Gyan to fellow fishers Please please do not ever use CTC comparison between current and next company. If you get an offer, do an in hand calculation. Some companies add Retirals like Employer PF, Gratuity along with Insurance, furniture allowance as part of your CTC. Others don't. Sone also have higher variable package. So when you do a CTC delta you may get a 20% hike but when you discount the above things you will fall short and may end up making less. So choose wisely.
Hello! Seeking advice regarding our mortgage company not complying with our FHA Loan Closing Disclosure.Per FHA requirements, homeowners insurance has to be collected through escrow. However they've only been paying property taxes. This extra money that accumulated in escrow won't cover what's owed to insurance because property taxes and insurance went up. Thus leaving us with a large chunk of change that we will have to front. Had this been done correctly in the first place, we wouldn't have cared about up
Oh look, the news cycle is now consumed by something other than the current healthcare repeal effort. That's convenient. It's almost like that was planned or something.
Currently work with Higher Ed and Healthcare clients on internal audit and consulting projects. I feel like these are two different paths but would this be considered as “relevant experience “ if I’m trying to apply as 1.5 YOE experienced hire (BA) for MBB? Also, anyone willing to give a few pointers and maybe refer me? Applied as a senior in college but got rejected at the time
Hi! I have an exploratory interview coming up with a hiring manager at a startup. I reached out to her on LinkedIn, asked if she would be open to connecting and she is. I’m very excited about this opportunity and want to make a good first impression. Meeting is via zoom so I’m treating it like an actual interview. What are some good questions to ask? Appreciate the help :)
Really need advice/opinions. My close friends are having their wedding the day of my son’s 1st birthday (poor planning & lack of consideration on their part). I could move the bday to the following wk but I’m 1) hurt they didn’t ask if we could make it if we’re in the wedding party 2) already canceled our gender reveal, babymoon & baby shower last yr due to covid & this is the ONE thing i was looking forward to now that we’re vaccinated. Moms what would you do? How would you feel about this?
What would be the reasons to be classified as an exempt employee and not get OT? Bc of covid?

Question about contingency fees (I work in an insurance defense firm and therefore have no idea)- client signs contingency agreement with law firm. Law firm eventually sees case is not going to be a winner in court, and therefore withdraws. Client, on his own, negotiates a settlement. Is prior law firm that withdrew beforehand entitled to fees from the settlement? It’s a first-party property damage case. Thanks in advance!
