With my team teacher we share documents so that we can both view, edit comment, etc. Sometimes we ask what each goal is for each section, question. When we work together we are better and stronger. We learn things from each other all the time. Whether it is a method, concept, application of real world items, etc.

Honestly, I try not to correct them in front of students. Instead, I address it with them afterwards, during our prep or our office hours. Then when it's the next day, I correct the mistake by saying, "Me and Ms./Mr. So-n-So made a mistake yesterday and we just want to take some time to correct it..."

You just finished teaching a skill / topic in your lesson. Children are now off to work on that skill independently: who are you targeting first to support, your students in the red or your students in the yellow?

Mid life crisis maybe? I recently sold my house (mid renovation, was just sick of it) so now I am renting. I don't like my city, I am just here for the job. I don't really like that either, I had the job to pay for my house. I had a house because I had a lot of stuff. I have learned due to covid I can live happily out of my van/camper. I have no plan for kids and have decided I am happiest solo. Wtf do I do now? Feeling very aimless. Like I could probably coast-retire n live on $20k/yr.

Currently a few weeks left on parental leave and have had a potential opportunity come up with a smaller firm that I think makes more sense for my career goals. The question I have is: assuming I get an offer and the details work out, how do I navigate leaving? Should I provide notice right away? Go back to my current firm for a couple weeks and then give notice? I certainly don’t want to burn bridges. How would you feel on the other side?
