Also the exact as above, except I also include a section solely for my notes.

All our family cases are so convoluted there’s no way all the documents would fit in a partition folder especially when you start getting court transcripts etc we’ve given up on those folders 🤣

That’s good information!

Well, what are you doing?

Family - I have nothing

Pleadings, Correspondence, Discovery, Info, Client Docs, Memos, Research, Notes, Billing, Other

Some success, now what? I started a solo practice July 2020. I’ve been successful in building a book of business sufficient to satisfy my overhead and provide me with a respectable income. I want to grow my practice somehow, but I’m stuck at figuring out how. I do mainly corporate transactional work and some litigation. Any advice?

1st year Associate at a small firm. I recently picked up a contract position that pays well for one day of work a week plus a couple hours scattered throughout the week. The partners have decided to cut my salary by roughly 35%. They pushed for me to take this contract position but did not discuss any salary reduction until after I accepted the position. Is this normal? For context, I am grossing slightly more than my original salary paid.
