How do you choose a legal recruiter? What qualities do you look for?

Can someone please guide how to proceed with opportunities.
I have tried applying through LinkedIn and official career pages as well, but never got positive response due to location constraints.

Hello Folks, Due to very toxic environment I had put down paper w/o having any offer. Fortunately, within 2 weeks of NP I cleared interviews for almost 4-5 organisations. All HR, had said that in last month of NP they'll release an offer, just so that I won't have a counter offer. Now, almost 2 weeks are left for NP to end, and surprisingly all of them are ignoring my mails, calls and texts. Please suggest. I'm losing patience as I was looking for switch since April 2022. @

For companies that use platforms like Greenhouse to gather recruiting feedback, what do you do with the data? If you receive a negative from a candidate, do you black flag the candidate for future interviews?

I finished my final round interview that was a part of 2 month long process. Didn't get the job. Any interview tips for next time that will get you an offer?

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?

Currently in the interview process for a Junior Consultant position and I'm definitely VERY interested in the firm.

Any tips for the case interview?
Any information on what the compensation looks like at this level in NYC?

I’m a 2nd attorney who recently moved from ID to PI defense representing large multinational corporations in slip and fall accidents and MVAs. I have full autonomy over my cases and the experience is incredible but I hate billables, reporting to clients, and I don’t love personal injury. I’m still inexperienced and have ways to go. I get great feedback from the partners and know I’m doing a good job. However I can’t shake this feeling that I’m not where I’m supposed to be. v v v

Should I dip or at least start talking to recruiters? Agreed to serve as local counsel for another attorney in my firm (different office). Answered complaint and then the case fell off the rails. Turns out firm has a conflict of interest that was missed in initial check, client has been instructed to retain a new attorney, court has ordered us to withdraw and client to produce documents by Wednesday. I keep reaching out to the attorney who I am assisting to ask if I can file my withdrawal and for the name of the new attorney and nothing. (Cont.)

Looking to lateral and I'm having issues pulling a writing sample. My problem is that all of my best writing was filed under seal (and I'm a junior associate, so there's not many options to choose from). I've taken a look at the applicable protective orders and I'm not allowed to share them. I've drafted other dispositive motions but feel they are lacking in comparison.

Does anyone have thoughts on using a non-dispositive motion as a second option? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve been in a smaller firm for a month or so now, and I am struggling to find allies or even collegiality. I have had multiple conversations with other associates who shit talk each other, and say things like A: “don’t talk to B because they don’t know anything…come to me instead” then hear things about A never having peoples backs/stabbing people in the back. It’s making the actual “working” part of the job so tedious because I never know who to go to for help without making myself vulnerable.
