How do you communicate with employees who don't want to wear masks? Unbelievable to me people still have issues grasping this need.

It’s required PPE of their job functions. I wouldn’t spend too much time trying to persuade one way or another as it’s highly politicized at this point. You can point to CDC or state mandates depending on what is in place in your area. We require them in the building and when standing and walking around, but once seated at their workstations they can be removed provide they continue to social distance and workstations are properly distanced. Explain that this isn’t forever, but it is a safety issue and will be reviewed periodically to ensure the company is confirming with the latest CDC and state guidelines.

Wear your mask, or dont come to work, its a job requirement right now so if you wont wear it you cant expect a job.

Assuming you've made it necessary to wear on premises, follow the usual disciplinary procedure for policy violations. Reiterate the policy and need to adhere to policy and state that repeat violations are subject to disciplinary action including termination.

Can anyone share some insight into the Associate Manager position in Accenture’s Federal Services department?

Has anyone started traveling yet? Client’s city has not had an outbreak and I’m slated to travel soon. I’m fairly nervous and refuse to fly so looking at driving 5-6 hours. I also have a young kid and my husband works lengthy hours so I’m pretty apprehensive but don’t feel like I’m at liberty to decline travel.

Just wanted to share this amazing resource I came across today that eliminates a lot of guesswork and assumption from what is a reasonable accommodation and what is not. JAN (Job Accomodation Network)

Hi All. I have an interview lined up for Business System Analyst( BSA) next week. Please pour in your suggestions on how to prep and what can I expect. @Current BSA's- Can you please share sample questions from your interviews. Glassd**r does not have enough examples. PS- I am a Consultant in Deloitte Workday practice and determined to make a place in FAANG.

Is it a bad sign if there was a long lapse of silence after your intern presentation in front of the entire design team - or is that just my social anxiety talking?

I have an interview tomorrow at a small tech PR firm in San Francisco. Any tips/advice to help land the job?

How tough is it to break into a FAANG PM role at mid-level if you have less prestigious experience? I have 10+ YOE in product, but some was at a tiny meh startup that fizzled out, some was in the digital wing of a large old healthcare org, and though my current role is GPM at a “name brand” tech company, it’s on the smaller side. Went to a good-but-not-Ivy school. What qualifications and experience are FAANG companies looking for when hiring mid-level PMs? Can I break in at mid-level from here?

What are some tangible ways your MBA network has helped you in your career?

I’m a senior associate. I was asked to participate on an associate interview for our firm. I’ll be one of two associates (plus partner) on the Zoom. In the associate to associate context: What questions should I ask? Anything in particular I should touch on? What would you like to know from an associate?

I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

Can anyone help me with EY tech Risk SM salary in Washington DC GPS practice

Pretty torn between CSR and Amex Gold cards. Ignoring annual fees, I’m torn between points earning potential. With most of my budget going towards discretionary spending (dining, groceries, drinks) the Gold has an appeal, yet CSR’s broader definition for travel might even out the point earning potential (ie covering full cost of one Airbnd for several friends would be a big point generator). Are there any other major factors I might not be considering? I’ve gone thru the TPG review FWIW.

Hi Guys, recently I received offers from 1. CTS & 2. EY GDS. EY offer is way lesser than my 1st offer from CTS, citing my low current salary. So, I haven't accepted the EY offer yet in the hope that it will be revised. Tech : SAP BW & SAC Planning, YOE 13 yrs, role offer : SCON 3, 26.5 fixed. I believe I should get around 32 fixed & HR is low balling me both on role & salary. Suggest me some strategies to get this offer revised.

Just applied to be a McKinsey Proposal Specialist. Any insights into how the recruitment process may differ from standard consulting roles? The role is essentially a mix of sales PMO (organizing across sales, legal, design) and writing proposals. Thanks!

Current TC is $110k. Been offered a role by an acquaintance in industry for $120k. Doesn’t make sense for me to jump given this minor increase in comp + lack of interest in new line of work. How do I let the recruiter know i’m not interested while still remaining amicable with the acquaintance who referred me?
