Go for a walk. Make a cup of my favorite tea. Take a deep breath and make a list of things I am grateful for. Play a reggae song (Skankin Sweet by Chronixx). Remind myself of all the other things going on in my life that have nothing to do with the situation that I am stressed about.
Meditation and cuddling my dog. Also calling a go-to friend know knows how to deescalate my spirals
Worth noting, I can't simply fix the situation that is causing stress.
