The exhaustion in first trimester is like no other. Try taking a nap at “lunch” wfh is nice cos it’s so much easier to do. Coffee/ tea helps too, you can have a cup a day but napping was the only way I got through it honestly
Ditto to this. The first trimester fatigue was real and lunch time naps were a life saver. Also, calls where you are only listening, take while taking a walk. It gave a little bit of a boost. Hang in there! For me, my energy came back second trimester and it was much more bearable
How far along are you? I felt like that for my first and starting of second trimester. I'm starting third trimester now and seem to have a ton of energy. Hopefully this carries through for the next 12 weeks. Maybe it will get better for you. If not, try to avoid turning on video for every call and its ok to prioritize your body over work at times :) you've got this mama !

I timed my coffee for the mid afternoon slump. That is of course once the morning sickness eased enough to be able to stomach it, maybe 14 weeks. I had to let my team know rather early (5-6 weeks) since I was literally having to leave meetings to get sick for about 2 months.
Second all of these suggestions and would add going to bed as early as is feasible. I was in bed by 10 PM every night and regularly slept until 7 AM. Never in my life have I needed 9 hours of sleep a night before, but in my first trimester I really, really did.
During months 2-3 all I did was sleep, like 14 hours a day and I was still tired. I barely clocked in 4-6 hours of work a day which I spread across weekends as well sometimes just to not completely lose my job. Took sick time and PTO as needed because something as simple as showering made me exhausted and pass out for a 2 hour nap. Hubby did everything else, from cooking, to groceries, to dog etc.
Hang in there momma. You are busy building a house in your uterus. You are doing enough. It gets better after week 14-15.
