Question: I have a client who started a restaurant. He leased the land and bought shipping containers where he spent money contracting out to turn them into bars. I’m having a tough time determining how to depreciate this! First thought was leasehold but he’s not making improvements to a structure...he owns the structure! Been performing like a high performer on my client up to this point and all the sudden I find myself looking up a therapist and being almost useless to my team (maybe useless is harsh, but I can’t will myself to get basic stuff done at this point). Literally happened within a split moment; in the morning I was taking the lead on calls and sometime around noon, it just hit and hit hard.
