Same responsibilities, higher expectations, and lower pay than my peer group but I’m told that I’m the future... Not sure how to approach ... should I raise with HR or my boss?
Need advice from moms that make more money than the spouse. I got a great offer for nice raise and career advancement but my husband now feels down saying he will not be able to catch up to me now... He is very supportive and proud of me, he never wanted a stay at home wife and loves that his wife has a career.
For those of you who were promoted internally from one title to the next, did you get a raise? If so, how did they justify the raise? Was it a percentage of your base?
1.5 years of experience, promotion would be at 2 year mark. Thoughts on accepting a slightly higher tier offer at a higher level? Will it appear like I wasn't on promotion track or something?
23-have had a credit card for 5 years, no loans, have never missed a payment and have 3 credit cards but my credit score won’t go past 764. Any way to raise credit score?
I just got a promotion, with title and raise, largely same responsibility. How does this affect my prevailing wage that was field a few months ago?
Am I the only one who has heard of PwC giving undergrads with a 10k higher base starting this year? Looking to see if I'm going to get a bigger raise this year 😄.
Is it worth going from one of the big consulting companies to a small boutique firm just for a pay raise?
Any dog owners who are working full time or traveling 4 days a week? How did you raise your pup while working and how do you care for him/her during the day when you are out of home? (Continued)
I'm an RFA consultant making 85k per year. I've been here 5 months. Manager wants to promote me next cycle to SC. Any guidance on how much of a raise I could anticipate or ask for? Thank you.
So definitely made it to SA got a 8% raise.. but this is funny, one of my colleague who is an analyst and joined with me and is in the same TDP group got a higher % raise than me w/o the level raise..
I am due for promotion next year from S. Con to Manager. I was assured that I would get it this yr but didn't happen and now the partner tells me that it's definitely going to happen next year. I have got an offer with 50% hike from a well to do start up but for the same profile. Should I make the move or should I wait another year? In a dilemma, kindly advice. I was also awarded the president award this time - but I guess that was more like a consolation for not getting the promotion.
PwC 🐟 I completed the 4 REAL blindspots training last year before 04/30. I’m going up for promotion this year. Do I need to take it again? It’s showing as 100% completed when I opened it but I wasn’t
If you're scheduled for next level training (staff 1 -> staff 2) does that mean you've been promoted? Is there an informal way to know if you haven't been promoted prior to official promotion date?

I have Spanish speaking clients while my team is English speaking. We want to have real-time English subtitles of the translation during meeting and are trying find a meeting technology (like Teams, Webex, etc) with the feature built-in and/or add-on tech that we can use. Do any of you have recommendations or experience with this? Zoom isn’t an option and we have a human translator who summarizes so we miss the detail.
How do I negotiate salary for my first full-time role (Jr copywriter)? What's a good number to start with in NYC? I have freelance/internship experience and a solid student book
Few people in the world make more money than Mark Reed, John Wren, Michael Roth or Arthur Sadoun. Cant they offer anything to avoid layoffs?
Even though this group may be biased, I need to ask. I am having a hard time picking between med school and business school. I have worked as an analyst for two years but see no fulfillment in my job. I know I could get into IB or equity research but I still have no real interest in it. But I also have zero experience in the medical field. I was a finance major and would be doing a complete 180, but the idea of medicine sounds so much more fulfilling than any career in finance. Thoughts?

Okay to send a cold LinkedIn message to the hiring manager, who also happens to be an officer of the company?
Just got a call for Atlassian Pm. how appropriate is the role when you will make manager this year? I was told it was a combination for product, project and program manager. How does that work?
So this happened. Since getting laid off I’ve been applying to every job that I believe I’m qualified for. 30 minutes after I hit send I received an email from the company stating that I did not have the right qualifications for the job. No one from the company looked at my portfolio. How do I get past the algorithm and get my work noticed by a real person?
Should priority be given to applying to a role ASAP or trying to network with a referral meaning it may take 2+ weeks to apply to the role?
