Just talk about how heavy your flow is and how many tampons you go through. Men tap out real quick.
I think awkward silence (after they say their shit) works the best
the only way ive gotten one guy to shut up is bringing up that they sound like the “ALL lives matter” people 🤷🏻♀️
ah. whoops. took it as if he was coming to his senses
“This is why you can’t get a girlfriend”
Ask them a question about what they just said (in a serious, inquisitive tone, not a sarcastic one) that forces them to think a little deeper. If a guys says that they’re being passed over for a promotion because someone else is a woman and they want more women leaders, ask them what specific qualities make them (the guy) more deserving than her. Try to make them realize it’s just an excuse they’re using as an explanation for their own shortcomings. It’s a lot easier to say “I’m not getting the promotion cause I’m a guy” than actually think about why you didn’t. The best way to make people realize they are thinking narrow-mindedly isn’t to tell them they’re an idiot, it is to make them think about why they believe what they believe.
Ex 1: men feel the pressure to look a certain way too.
Ex 2: domestic abuse affects men as well.
Ex 3: men are prejudiced against in the corporate world because higher ups want diversity so they skip over promotion for me.
How do you say something smart, short, and to the point about how self-absorbed and honestly, ill-informed they are?
Yes, these problems affect men as well, but these issues are not systematically working against men the way they are working against women...
