How can I develop a good relationship with my managing partner? Specifically - I feel like I make mistakes, and then like I need to compensate, but then feel like I’m over doing it, etc. I have a really nice managing partner so I want to have a good dynamic with him.
Is the answer just to be diligent, don’t overdo it, don’t under do it, and just try to make his life as easy as possible? Any other tips?

I was with someone for 2 and a half years & one of the biggest reasons I broke it off was because he didn’t use ANY condiments EVER & also didn’t like bakery items/sweets… I think he did it to make himself more interesting too which somehow made it worse. What’s some weird crap your ex did?

Today was one of the most blah days in a long time. Demotivated. Unrelated, last week turned down a “loose” offer for a FAANG job because I don’t like big corp culture, but wondering if I made a mistake. Listening to the Traveling Wilburys with some G&T though, which counts for something.
Can anyone please refer me at PwC for advisory Snowflake data modelling please.

Self contained ASD 6-8 grade. I have the lowest and most aggressive out of the two classes. It’s as if they feed each other. Low focus rates. Do those in my situation have a lot of down time? Seems I can’t keep them on track. Wondering if I am trying too much on academics? I feel I should lighten up but if I give a lot of down time I don’t want others to think I am lazy. Trying to find that balance

My parish expects the SPED teachers to teach face to face resource/self contained classes while teaching virtual classes in tandem. I am not sure if this is something that other places are doing but I am feeling like it will be impossible. How can I teach individual students on computers while teaching other students (more that one grade level at a time). Has anyone else been told this?

8th grade intervention specialist here…I have students who are reading well below grade level (3rd grade) and am currently teaching phonics and phonemic awareness but at times it feels very young for these teenagers. At what point, I don’t want to say give up, but do we stop teaching phonics? And if not teaching phonics what reading skills do you teach instead to continue to help their reading?

This fight has gotten real! I’ve been offered a job, advertised as remote, but they want to have a blended program with teachers on campus. Small school, 10-15 to a class... maybe, masks ( I’ll have to ask if they’re mandatory), distancing and a continuous cleaning staff. Sounds great but I’m 62 with 5 underlying conditions! Have to negotiate a contract Monday... I’m hoping I’ll be able to work on-line as NV is one of the growing hotspots in this Pandemic!
