It mostly comes down to proper planning and accepting what’s out of your control.
Planning is key to minimize stress — always look at your schedule for the next 4 to 6 weeks and focus on the items that are important but not urgent, as this approach will minimize the occurrence of stressful situations.
When stressful situations do arise, remember the 5 best words in PA — “it is what it is” — and don’t stress if it’s out of your control (but be sure to have timely communications with others to minimize the problem).
When I have stress, I focus on something that takes my mind off work for a couple hours (golf, cooking, movie, etc.).
Good luck! 🍀

What’s the realistic salary expectations post-pandemic for an experiential producer with 5+ years of experience and 8+ years of managerial experience (in multiple fields)?? Hi everyone🙂

This is my first time posting on this app. I see here working professionals from almost all the big companies, so I would be really grateful if someone could help in switching from my current company.
I joined SoftwareONE as a fresher and it has been 2.4 years working here. I would be suitable for profiles like procurement Specialist, vendor management, customer portfolio management, operations and end to end customer account management (i.e. from RFQs to invoicing)

Thank you

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
