A recruiter wants to share my work with an agency. They want to know my salary requirements right away, before they’ve even shown interest.

I’m fine for them to look at my folio, it’s on the internet for anyone to see. But I don’t think I should have to say my salary expectations before I even know what the role is and whether they even like me.

Is it fair just to say I want to wait til I know more about the role?

My sister’s boyfriend is in the same friend group as his ex, who “shattered his heart” 3 years ago. Their friend group regularly goes on weekend ski trips together including SO’s. He’s moved on, and she says she has no reason to distrust him, but she feels insecure whenever she’s not able to join. Should she ask him not to go when she can’t join? I don’t know how to advise because she doesn’t want to be “that gf,” but I can see how much it bothers her. Wwyd in her situation?

I have tried early dinners to subdue the urge but it doesn't work. Tried excercising in the evenings but that just makes the urge stronger (reward mechanism). Don't know how to reduce/stop. My company offered to pay my way through the CFP program, on the contingency that I will pass and also stay with them for 10 years after the fact. Is this normal? It seems unfair to make me pay them back down the road if I decide to take a better opportunity. It’s a small business that is worried I will leave.

I don't have anyone else who gets this, but I hit my personal goal this year in almost every category; revenue, income, AUM growth, etc. Our fiscal year ends in October and I ended the year with a bang. Just super excited and I hope everyone else knows, this business is worth it when you put in the time and effort! Edit: also passed CFP in March!
