Hi Facebooker, Here is an honest review from an ex-Facebooker.

Yes, MBA does make a difference in your career. Some might say it's just a tag, your skills matter, true. But then you have skills + Tag and any employer will prefer that tag.

Also, when you do MBA, you are rigorously scrubbed through a lot of presentations, case studies, sometimes internships too, deep knowledge of management subjects (Str. Mgmt, Contemporary mgmt etc ) and all of it then comes out in your style of management in your work. Recruiters know this thing, our whole thought process changes and it reflects in our interviews.

when to do MBA? : It is completely your call. I feel the best time is when you have 3-4 yoe or even better if your company can sponsor your MBA.

BTW, where are you located?

Just saw this. Yes, yes, yes do it. Best of luck

yes, it's the right time!

The MBA makes the biggest difference on your performance, though if you have a biz-related role at all it definitely helps that too. I would say, earlier than later? When you have time (family commitments at their lowest) and the best financial situation, ideally both.

helpful

People say it doesn't, but I think it really does. I agree with M1, it's more about you (and the things you are exposed to). Think about why you are thinking about getting one. If it's not purely for the idea of advancement, go for it...it's probably a good reason and particularly if you can afford it both timewise and financially.

Hi Team,

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

Shall i switch to tech Mahindra?

I will be joining in one of the Big4 from IBM in Audit and Assurance (IT) in a month. The work environment for me at IBM is kind of chill and quiet balanced. Need some tips and advise from all of the Big4 employees out there on working culture, hours to put in each day, etc.
I currently have 2 years of experience.
Plus if any one of you are from the same field as mine would appreciate if one can suggest what learning path shall I choose with progression in years of experience?

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.
