How do you determine what skills are going to be of value in the coming decades?

Input appreciated! As a second year associate, I have a reasonable 1800 billable requirement and make $70k, but I don’t feel aligned with the firm. I want more WLB and don’t care about making partner. I am considering pivoting to a contracts analyst position (glorified doc review) because it’s 100% remote, same pay, has a 40 hour cap (rather than my current minimum!), flexible hours, and no billables or stress. Would this be a bad idea for my career?

Big Law associates: Do you see a trend of intense “great resignation” recently? 5 people I know (a 3rd year at WilmerHale, a 7th year at Latham, a 5th year at Latham (same office, same practice), another 7th year at Latham (different office, different practice), a 6th year at MoFo) all quit in Feb. or early March. None of them lateraled (yet) and at least one of them does not plan to practice law anymore. I thought it was about Latham or this practice group before learning about the other two.

Hey fishes, i hd applied at amex for the role of business analyst though a recruiter. After 2 rounds of interviews, the recruiter calls me and tell me that she received mail from amex that i shall keep my documents ready and I’ll be receiving a call by this week for salary negotiation. My last ctc was 6 lpa and recruiter tells me the budget for this role is 20 lpa. In expected ctc i had mentioned that my ask is of 15 lpa negotiable. Tech Stack : QA Automation (Java Selenium)

1. Sapiens : 22.5 LPA including variable of 2.5L
2. Powerschool : 20.7 LPA including variable of 1.8L.
3. FIS : Yet to receive the offer letter and mostly would be around 20-21. As all are product based companies, so wanted to know which one is good to join considering Learnings, Hikes and job security and tech stack?
