I stopped trying. If they don’t get it by now, they simply don’t want to. Maybe other folks are better than I am. I’m just tired of explaining these things to a brick wall

I’ve stopped too. They ask questions just to argue back and forth with you. Like Nick Cannon said, they’re animals.
I honestly always ask this: if you could be born again and live your life, would you want to be treated as society treats black people or how it treats white people? Their answer, if they’re honest, should be white. In which case I say, so youre smart enough in knowing you don’t want the same treatment that black people receive for yourself, so why are you so comfortable being naive and accepting that treatment for others.
It is undeniable that black people are treated worse than their white counterparts.

Copying this whole comment because Im sickuvit.. the head in the sand syndrome is exhausting
And don’t get me started with other POC’s and Jews trying to win the Oppression Olympics. I’m tired, chile.
I don’t. My personal mantra is “I don’t beg white people to see the humanity in members of my community. Systemic racism is their problem to understand and fix.”
Pick your battles. Some people are low key racists and not worth my effort because they'll never change. Other people are just privileged or live in a bubble and don't get it, but with time you can give them a new perspectives.
In any case, don't burn yourself out trying to educate everyone.
You don't. There's no point.
Compare relatively and be target about your points... I.e. % poor whites/all whites vs % poor black/all backs.
Then you get hit with the % of crime numbers
Pretty sure this kind of shit isn’t meant for understanding, it’s a pre-election tactic to anger on-the-fence whites to vote for Trump.
“Black people have it so much better. It’s you, as a white man, who is disadvantaged.”

Usually I don’t carry one trying, you definitely have to pick your battles. If you want to try and inform them, let them know studies show white women benefit off of AA the most and even if there are more poor white people than black people no amount of wealth will make up for the 200 year setback of slavery and anti black laws. Those poor White people still have more access to opportunities bc of the color of their skin, still benefit off of the oppression even if they don’t actively take part in it. In terms of more White people getting shot than black people, the rate at which black people are getting shot in comparison to the amount of black people in the US is abysmal, it’s too many compared to how many of us are in this country. Honestly I’d just send them a bunch of articles and resources bc it’s their job to educate themselves, you shouldn’t not be teaching them. Only those who want to learn can be taught
