I like a clean and simple resume that highlights the individual's experience. I see so many resumes on a daily basis that my eye just focuses on the skills and relevant experience and I don't care too much if the resume has graphics or some sort of color.
On another note, large organizations have an ATS that will extract the data anyways and graphics and or colors may distort the information.
Really?!? Wow. Thanks for the tip!
One color in addition to black is ok. Just don’t over do it.. only exception is if you’re in an art field or graphic design… then light that sh!t up
LOL im not but thank you!!

For leadership roles, only go with black. It looks more professional and polished.
Thank you so much.
I tend to always use an olive green in my resume and honestly 8/10 people have always complimented the aesthetic. Ofcourse its not just the color but the format I use but point is its typically always a hit. Whether someone says “looks great” or just dont get feedback on the color and just proceed with a normal interview. To be clear I am in HR

In my experience, IF you do something non-standard, make sure you do it very well. If it is poorly done it will backfire on you. If well done, it can absolutely help you stand out.
I also agree with the comment that it depends on the job you are applying for. An accountant's job, no, a graphic design job, yes.
For an admin assistant I would not do anything other than basic.
