How do you feel about men who shave off their head and keep a beard? Less professional, less attractive, both?

Is it normal to get a 50-80k raise for a promotion within a company?? I heard someone say they had 2 offers within a company so both teams were fighting for them, and another offer outside of the company, so his current company bumped his pay from $110k OTE to $180k.
