FDIC insured is as close to the “no risk” option. Now depends on how you define risk. Risk of long term capital depreciation? Only choice is stocks, which currently only have a10 year estimate of 3-4% real returns. Next decade will suck for public investors

How do you deal with a manager who is annoyingly relentless? Who would set very high unrealistic expectations without even understanding themselves the time and effort it would take? So for example, instead of manually fixing an isolated issue that affects a tiny population and move on, they would ask you dig deep to find the systematic reason of what’s causing it. Understood the motive, but in the interest of time, other engagements, and practicality, sometimes it’s best to just move on
