I try and take my kids somewhere after work before heading straight home. Quick stop at the park to play with them before we head home and begin the prep for tomorrow

Thanks! I’ve been doing that with the nicer weather and it helps. 🙂 Any suggestions for when its winter/icky out?

I was lucky that my daycare provider was also a soccer coach. She took my child to practice and I would meet them at the park after work. She set up mini-cones so he could run drills "like the big kids" and he was just as exhausted as I was when I picked him up.

I make sure to take some deep breaths before the transition from classroom to family. Simple but helpful. I’ve had a really hard time with both morning and afternoon switches and this has helped. 💕

I have a commute between my school and home. The time gives me a second to rest, process, and get ready to fully focus on the babies when I get home. There isn't much time to spend once I'm home so I make it count and go to bed when they do!

I try to make weekends our thing. During the week I just do my best. We enjoy chiller activities during the week, then I spend my weekends trying to take her to playgroups and parks.
