Work out in the morning. Meal plan meal plan meal plan Track macros

Alcohol adds a lot of empty calories that the body prioritizes over pretty much anything else so that’s always a good move

Discipline & consistency. Your end of day won’t be consistent, so workout in the morning. Plus you won’t be exhausted after a long day. Turn down the free junk food. Plan meals out so you are less likely to go eat out. I meal prep on Sunday and fly my meals with me to client location each week.

likesmarthelpful

do you have meal/recipe ideas? I try meal prepping but run out of inspo

Set your goals for your photos in 2 months (weight, body fat, etc) and track them, use it to help guide your decisions on dieting and snacking. Diet and sleep are most important, then workout as your schedule allows you too including short 30 minute workouts or in hotel or at home body weight stuff.

Start measuring. Seriously ! Discipline is difficult to achieve when you’re tired so plan ahead. It’s easier to eat healthy when you’re not starving, time your meals accordingly. Get on the mindset that it doesn’t matter that food is free, what matters is your health and well-being.

Yes! I started tracking my Intake and it's already helping my decision making. here's my doc if you folks wanna stalk! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ggkz0ryUqSbz2TOffvzApG92yJ3V031-ujIr1kZw90E/edit?usp=sharing.

Also, how are you guys staying disciplined after being tired from work.

Bring your own snacks. Emphasis on stuff like raw nuts, protein, get up every hour to get water to sip. Gym discipline is ok for me because I actually need it, it's like a place of meditation and stress release, I float away on the endorphins and good music in my headphones.

While intermittent fasting and keto can help, it’s completely up to you whether that’s your preferred way to reduce calories. Ultimately it’s all calories in calories out for fat loss, regardless of which diet or timing. With that being said you will lose more weight (from water primarily) on keto or similar diets Good on you to start tracking calories. Try to stay 10-20% below maintenance. Your goal should be to keep to those, hit protein at roughly 1g/lb of body weight (preferred weight rather than current weight), and you’ll get there. Good luck!

Meals and adequate sleep. Forget gym and get those two

I’ve been using Noom app. It’s working for me! Simply helps you do things mentioned above

If weight loss is your goal then fast way to get there is Intermittent Fasting or extended fasts - coupled with lower carbs in diet ( rely more on Vegetables and Berries) Read book by Dr Fung on Fasting. It’s a good read and fasting does show good results. You can fast while traveling. But note - half of weight loss during fast is water weight, so you will regain that weight once you go back to regular eating.

Keto all the way. Get yourself into ketosis and drop some weight quickly

Water water water. Drink lots of water. When your body needs water, it can communicate to you through the feeling of hunger. I started to drink close to a gallon a day of water and it’s helped my skin, my metabolism, my energy levels, the whole nine. It takes a minute to develop the habit (and get used to the several restroom trips a day) but it’s worth it. I’ve increased my steps by getting up to get water and run to the restroom so that’s a plus! I’m almost in the exact same boat. I’m getting married soon, my weight hasn’t been where I want it, and working consistent 12 hour days and water has been a game changer. It’s not the complete answer (making healthier food choices and working out are definitely necessary too) but water should be your best friend
